摘要：The boilers from romanian thermal power plants worked a considerable period without major investment but, in the last decade, have been modernized, especially in terms of reducing emissions. Thermal insulation of boilers and related equipment was generally rehabilitated, but its properties are quite distant from the requirements of the legislation in force. This paper presents an opportunity to determine heat losses by radiation and convection from the outer surface of the thermal equipment to the environment, using the direct method, measuring the surface temperature by a thermo vision camera
