摘要：The technological processes from the industry for obtaining or processing lime are pollution emission generators that affect the quality of the environment and the involved human factor. Lime is used in different fields, namely: in constructions, in the industry of construction materials, in chemical industry, in iron and steel industry but also for water treatment. The main emission resulted from lime production are emissions of burning gases, derivate from the system of calcinators and of dusts resulted from raw material burning as well as from lime granulation operation, from the materials transportation system and from lime separators. In the present paper it was realised an evaluation of the impact due to the activity of SC SIMCOR VAR - Târgu-Jiu on environmental factors through an analysis of samples taken inside the location considered and from the interpretation of the results, according to the legislation in force.
