摘要：Most stream ciphers use publicly known initialization value (IV) for synchronization purposes. In our paper we list the security criteria for IV setup. In addition, we examine the IV setup of stream cipher SNOW 2.0, one of the two stream ciphers included in the ISO/IEC 18033-4 standard.
