摘要：Correlated to specific conditions encountered in the coal basin of Jiu Valley, and the consequence of the effects of restructuring extraction of coal, present at the 7 mines in operation (Lonea, Petrila, Livezeni, Vulcan, Lupeni, Paroseni, Uricani), coal extraction is carried out through classical coal front face, in a share of approx. 38% in terms of achievement of total basin production – if technologies operating with short front, long front and individual long-mechanized front, and working with the undermined bed, whose participation in achieving record production at the end of the quarter III of this year, the share of approx. 62%. This paper, which is mainly the practical, it refers to the presentation of developed and tested solutions in case of undermined bed method, designed to ensure optimal conditions for security and protection of work and coal field, taking into account that this kind of technology, by its specific application, raises a number of problems regarding unloading and controlled discharge of coal.
