摘要：The paper is a survey on the flue gas desulphurization methods applied in present. The chemical mechanisms leading to formation of sulfur dioxide, sulfur trioxide and sulfuric acid are described. The specific case of Rovinari power station is analyzed, considering the actual values of sulfur dioxide emissions in relation with the regulated threshold limit values.
