摘要:Acid rain is a form of pollution such as air and water in which acids in the air, produced by the plant for the production of electricity and other sources fall to Earth in different regions. Action corosivă of acid rain causes huge environmental damage. The problem begins with the production of sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxides produced by burning fossil fuels (coal, natural gas and oil). Sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxides react with water and other chemicals in the air to form sulfuric acid, nitric acid and other pollutants. These acids come up pollutants in the atmosphere, where travel hundreds of kilometers, and, eventually, return to earth in the form of rain, snow or fog.
