摘要:This work describes the components and the landscape dynamics of the Capim river basin in Para State. The main purpose is to identify the most principals systems to the basin. In the methodology was used as variables: geology, hydrogeology, geomorphology, soils, climate and vegetal covering; the cartography existing, geoprocessing and remote sensing techniques and field surveys. The gotten results show that: the Capim river basin can be subdivided in two terrain systems (High Capim river and Low-Medium Capim river) and six terrain units (Palheta - Jari, Cajueiro - Pirajorara, Candiru - Açu, Carataua - Açu, Jamanxim - Itaquiteua Grande and Ararandeua - Surubiju). It´s characterized by a sixth order basin with changeable behavior, associate to geological variations and fluvial processes modeling. The units Ararandeua- Surubiju and Candiru-Açu showed the more active dynamics and whose behavior can imply in stronger basin changes.
