摘要：Fossil registrations of age mesozóica are not a very common fact in if treating of Brazilian sedimentary basins. In interior basins the fossil registration of the period inferior Cretaceous is still scarcer, like this new discoveries if they turn important for the paleontological study in our country. The Basin of Tacutu is ignored practically in terms of geological studies not possessing fossil registrations until the moment, whose discovery of fossils in the basin is reverted in an important fact, marking beginning of a series of important researches of paleontological stamp be developed her/it by the Institute of Geociências of the Federal University of Roraima - UFRR - in this area.
