摘要:In the decade of 1980, the state of Roraima was passing through transformations, above all, caused by the mine, that stimulated the people's arrival of the most varied parts of the country, in your majority northeasterners. The search for the gold enlarged the limits of the city of Boa Vista - the capital of the state - and it stimulated several conflicts among miners and indigenous, considered by the pathfinders as a fetter for exploration of the precious stone. So that, the state of Roraima, especially your capital, receives a range of influences so much of the migrants as indigenous and Caribbean, because besides the intense migratory process, it is located in the border with Venezuela and the Republic of Guyana. This confluence of languages and cultures got attention of a group of artists that began to discuss the Roraima identity through the art, creating a cultural movement called “Roraimeira”. In this sense, we will discuss about the appearance, the changes and the contribution of this cultural movement for the construction and popularization of the Roraima identity, starting from the analysis of some musical poetries that talk about the city of Boa Vista.
