摘要：This text deals with the Agrarian Geography modernization in Brazil, in a glance about Mato Grosso situation with more specificity, based on the triad: city, territory and networks, in what we are intending and formatting them, such as, a theoretical and methodological thought for further future empirical approaches. When we look for the historical assumptions of the territory shape and modernization of Brazil, and within, the Agrarian Geography modernization context, it is basic and obvious regarding the city issue, although this aspect deserves yet, some efforts to expand this relationship. Nowadays, this issue receives the necessary strengthening of another category, the network, which allows further enhance through this range of approach. It was thinking on this way we have created our thought about modernization of the territory, in addition, the Agrarian Geography in Mato Grosso, and the city as the required basis, currently with a configured introduction and consolidation in networks of agro-industrial complex which the city has become the more contradictory expression of the social territory.
