标题：ANÁLISE SISTÊMICA: CONTRIBUIÇÃO TEÓRICO METODOLÓGICA E APLICAÇÕES NO ESTADO DO PIAUÍ (Systemic analysis: theoretical contribution methodology and applications in the state of Piauí, Brazil)

摘要：In recent decades, studies in geography involving environmental issues with the software as General Systems Theory (GST) have been widely disseminated. The use of TGS in Physical Geography culminated with the creation of geosystems method advocated by Russian Sotchava. The application and recognition of this methodological approach in the identification and development of environmental units that make up the landscape, where the relationships are complex biotic and abiotic key is at the heart of Geography. Considering the importance of this approach, the paper aims to present the conceptual elements, methodological and practical studies of the landscape made from a systemic perspective, and analyze the application of these elements in works that is based on the study area Piauí. In order to achieve this goal this study was methodologically divided into two parts. The first part was dedicated to studying the theoretical bases that underlie the systemic study of the landscape. The second objective of the survey of studies conducted in the state of Piauí based on systemic approach. The survey revealed a lack in the use of systems analysis in environmental studies for the state of Piauí. Strengthening the use of this approach is necessary in order to overcome the distance and the duality between the physical geography and human geography, in order to promote the unity of geographical science.
