摘要：In his book Natural Law and Natural Rights, John Finnis undertakes a major restatement of the classical theory with the intention of overcoming usual objections from positivists. His theory is based on the work of Aristotle and Aquinas. Finnis asserts that there are seven basic values which can be objectively established. They are life, knowledge, play, aesthetic experience, sociability (friendship),practical reasonableness and religion. These values are self-evident.
