摘要:The legal regulation of the consumer protection is inevitable mainly due to the fact that it balances the unequal position of the consumer vis-a-vis the seller. The author discusses various definitions of consumer in the international documents and in the Czech legal system. The second part of the article is aimed at the legal aspects of so called timesharing according to the Directive 94/47/EC, the author deals with problems, which arose after this directive became effective and proposes changes, which would make this directive an effective tool for the consumer protection. The final part of the article concentrates on the legal aspects of timesharing in the Czech legal system.
