摘要：The legal system of the European Union is well-known for its peculiar characteristics, which distinguish it from traditional international organizations. The objective of this article it to confirm a hypothesis that the legal system of the Union is best explained by using a concept of material constitution. At the same time we also undertake to disprove the arguments of scholars who subsume the Union under the realm of international law.
