摘要：Almost all words in the language cover the way from denotation of the objects to experience via the logic of cognition, to creative work, intuition, and symbolism. Behind world-symbols stand ideas and systems of ideas, not expressed, but presented in the language reality as a sensual experience. In the article a process of symbolization of the everyday life concept «bread» in Russian linguistic consciousness is described based on developing denotations alive in the given culture, in the context of a reconstructed symbolic reality.
