摘要:Taking as point of departure the widely accepted principal in childhood sociology to involve children in the research process, this paper goes further into the question of to what extent and in what way children themselves can act as researchers. In order to do justice to the perspective(s) of children, the paper pleads for a research in children’s hands, accompanied by adult consultants. Taking examples from the global South, ways of how such a child-lead research can be practiced are depicted. Taking into consideration the unequal relations between children and adults, ethical and hands-on research questions that arise during the research process and the implementation of the research results are discussed. To conclude, the benefit children can have from researching themselves is demonstrated.ojects.
