摘要：The study of Alzheimer’s Disease (AD) has advanced much in the last few years, thanks to the discovery of associated genes and their variants and mutations. This accumulation of knowledge has led to the creation of various hypotheses concerning AD which give greater relevance to one or other genetic factor. With the accelerated pace of development in the area of pharmaceutical genomics, new genetic factors involved in the pathogenic process have been identified, which should lead to new avenues for treatment. In this review article we discuss the molecular and genetic bases for AD as well as potential new therapies.
