摘要:Dr Neil Ormerod is a professor of theology at the Australian Catholic University and the current editor of the Australian eJournal of Theology. His publications have enriched our understanding of the Church and of the Trinity. His primer on the Trinity is an uncomplicated story that unfolds in three parts. In addition to the three acts, there is an appendix that probes contemporary concerns about the use of masculine language in the traditional description of the Trinity. Another appendix provides notes for homilies for Trinity Sunday. They are based on the readings for each of the three years of the liturgical cycle. And a glossary of terms assists readers to understand words without which it's impossible to write about the Trinity. With this book, Neil Ormerod has consolidated his reputation as a theologian. Both as one who has something fresh for his peers; and as one who can take parishioners from the insights they have to the deeper ones some of them are looking for.
