摘要：Link quality estimation is a fundamental building block for the design of several different mechanisms and protocols in wireless sensor networks. The accuracy of link quality estimation greatly impacts the efficiency of these protocols. Therefore, a thorough experimental evaluation of link quality estimators (LQEs) is mandatory. In this paper, we present the statistical behavior of the most well-know link quality estimators in wireless sensor networks through an experimental test bed that we have design and implemented for this purpose. We then statistically analyze the empirical data to evaluate the performance of these estimators.
