摘要：Welcome to the first issue of the second volume (third issue) of the Chilean Journal of Statistics (ChJS). The first volume of the ChJS had two numbers, published in April and September 2010. That volume paid tribute to a beloved Chilean statistician called Pilar Iglesias. Pilar was the main motivation for the Chilean editorial board to revive this journal; the relaunch of this publication was one of her dreams. The journal was dormant during ten years, since the old version of the ChJS, called Revista de la Sociedad Chilena de Estad′.stica, was published in Spanish during 1984-2000.
