A methodofcreatingcomplexknotsandlinksispresentedwhichusesamodularapproachthatbeginswitha kuniform tessellation.Eachregularpolygonisdecoratedwithasimplemotifthatthathasarcsconnectinguniformly spaced pointsonthesidesofthepolygons.Avarietyofcomplexknotsandlinkscanbecreatedusingthisprocedure. Examples ofvisuallyinterestingknotsandlinkscreatedusingthisprocedurearepresented.
