摘要:This study examines ethical misconduct of 193 business students in four universities in the United States. In addition to self-reported ethical behavior, two dimensions of emotional intelligence (self-emotions appraisal and others emotions appraisal) significantly impacted student misconduct. None of the other dimensions of emotional intelligence were significant. Grade Point Average (GPA), religiosity, non-business ethics course, sex, graduate status, university, and over claiming did not impact student misconduct. Implications of the results of the study for business schools and industry professionals are discussed.
