摘要：Tracing the falcons — My aim in this article is to show a certain phenomenon (knowledge of hunting with predatory birds) whose character can be deemed global. This can be corroborated as fact by taking into account the multiplicity of places and times we have to consider looking for the origins of this phenomenon, as well as the rich repository and complexity of sourcesused by falconers in various areas and epochs. This knowledge, however, was modified and complemented locally in places it reached. It seems, then, that the global character of the falcon-hunting phenomenon is a consequence of its local varieties and forms.
