摘要：The object of this study was to investigate the correlation between the trunk mobility and the movement ability in hemiplegic persons. The subjects for this study were twentyeight hemiplegic persons ( male 17, female 11; right hemiplegia 12, left hemiplegia 16). Their ages varied from 50 to 91 years with an average of 66.6 years. We measuredtheir active trunk motions(flexion, rotation and lateral bending) in sitting posture. And we assessed their movement abilities ( standing up from a stool and walking ability ).As a result, there was a close correlation between the trunk mobility and the movement ability (ANOVA ; p< 0.01).
