  • 摘要:The relationship between the maximal oxygen intake per kilogram of body weight (VO2 max/wt) and blood lipids was investigated using 110 adult women. Results obtained were as follows: 1) After controlling for the effects of age and percent body fat (% fat), there was no significant correlation between VO2max/wt and blood lipids. 2) After controlling for the effects of age and VO2max/wt, %fat had a significant positive correlation with triglycerides (TG) and negative correlation with high density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL), showing no significant correlation with both total cholesterol (TC) and β -lipoprotein cholesterol(β -L). 3) After controlling for the effects of Vat and VO2max/wt, the age of subjects had a significant correlation with both TC and β -L, but not with TG and HDL.
