摘要：For the purpose of investigating accuracy of eye measurement of an angle, usually used in clinical treatment, its error between the actual value was examined using goniometer. Subjects were 45 healthy students of the university, being divided into three groups. Group I: Eye measurement was taken four times at one week intervals, group II: it was taken for nine consecutive days, and group III: it was taken after the actual value was indicated for nine consecutive days. Results obtained are: 1) In group II, its error appeared approximately five degrees. In group I, however, a tendency that its error increased in length was observed, showing nine degrees at the angle from 91 to 145 degrees. 2) In group II, no decrease in its error was seen even though eye measurement was repeated. 3) Since eye measurement of an angle was comparatively accurate, its value in place of goniometer was suggested to be reliable in the passive ROM treatment.
