摘要:Worldwide concern for natural and biological resources is higher than ever before. Issues such as climate change, loss of biodiversity1, ozone layer depletion, or desertification have taken the centre stage in the global discourses. Anthropogenic factors are identified as the main drivers (Ehlers 2008). Some of the human activities such as competitive industrialization and market‐orientation have led to outcomes detrimental to the environment. Part of the planet, on the other hand, suffered from policies and intervention that weakened traditional life which considers people as integral part of nature. Based on the observations of the human factor in shaping the planet, natural resources and environment, scientists argue that we entered the geological era of the Anthroposcene (Crutzen 2002; Ehlers 2008; Zalasiewicz et al. 2008).
