摘要：Camila Alire, Incoming President of the American Library Association and a member of the Collaborative Librarianship Advisory Board, discusses the ideals and realities of collaboration in the library environment in response to a series of questions from CL's editors. She refers to her experience to describe examples of successes and failures, and highlights the critical ingredients of success in collaborative ventures.
