The penetration into a certain society of juridical norms, elaborated in a different social

environment is represented by the law transfer. The history knows many ways of realising the

transfer: reception, imitation, infiltration, acceptation, transplantation, contacts, influence and

adoption. The European Union must create a new law: the communitarian law who is going to

substitute itself to the national law in the measure in which the member states are losing their

legislative competence. The new European codes must contain clear, uniform and precise rules

governing people and goods.

In the future, the European Union’s institutions want to create a veritable ius gentium which

could be transferred everywhere due to globalisation.
