This work presents the constructive activity conducted by the Bishop of Arad, Andrei Magieru (1936 – 1960) for the establishment of fruitful cooperation relations, on the planes of the Church and national culture, with the other European Christian churches. The Bishop Andrei Magieru suffused this activity of institutional cooperation with an ample character, through the association around the ecclesiastic institutions of the time, of the assembly of cultural-educative institutions, which the European world disposed of: school, public libraries, museums, art institutions scientific research centres. The information in the work illustrates the thesis of association of the European cultural-national area to the ecclesiastic cooperation.
