摘要：Prof. Gagné (2011) has written provocatively about matters of equitable opportunity in gifted education. He has challenged the way that educational institutions identify and select the students who will be provided with opportunity to develop their academic talent and questions why there is a clear imbalance in programs of academic talent development. Certainly the problem of representation across diverse groups is one we cannot ignore, and one that has raised questions in the past about selection and programming in school settings.
