摘要:From the study of the creation of and crisis in football clubs leagues, the objective of this article is to analyze the possible changes in the management of national and European football. The examples taken are the C-13 (Club of the 13), in Brazil and the G-14, in Europe. The suggested hypothesis is that these leagues have not only sped up the process of mercantilization of the sport, by establishing themselves as lobby groups over traditional leading entities (FIFA; UEFA; CBF), compelling them to promote changes, but have as well pressured the public sector to take social and political control measures over the modality. These phenomena have been promoting a restructuring in the governmental structure of global football.
