摘要:This article presents and discusses the Relevance Theory (SPERBER; WILSON, 1995), a human communication and cognition model that proposes to explain how information is mentally represented and inferentially processed in intentional communicative situations. Such theory seems to be a model capable of elucidating how human beings communicate explicit and implicit ideas. An analysis of two comic strips is made from this pragmatic approach, demonstrating how the communication process takes place
