摘要:Risks associated with weather’s evolution within the Somes-Tisa hydrographic basin during July 2005. The paper analyzes two risk phenomena that occurred inside this hydrographic basin as a follow-up to the weather conditions’ evolution during the month of July 2005: the excess of precipitations and the thermic discomfort. The first two decades of the month were characterized by a pluviometric excess, an aspect emphasized over the entire surface of the basin. The most significant quantities of precipitations were recorded in the mountainous zone of the basin: Mariselu – 394.7 mm, Smida – 256.9 mm, Firiza – 230.3 mm. It is worth noticing the fact that, inside this region, significant quantities were registered on the exposed versants, as well as on the versants more sheltered from the zonal or north-western atmospheric circulation. The third decade of July was characterized by the pronounced increase of the temperatures, such that during the last days of this month they surpassed 32 °C. The high temperatures and the excessive humidity, caused by the precipitations occurred during the first two decades of the month, determined the apparition of another climatic risk phenomena, associated with the thermic discomfort. The humidity-temperature comfort index (ITU) (the heat index) reached and exceeded, during the last four days of the month, the critical threshold of 80 units, the maximum recorded value being 85 units, at Dej.
