摘要:Management of contemporary tourism with sustainability features demands the employment of system that will ensure information, management and generally the functioning of the system as a whole. If tourism is not viewed and regulated in whole of its complexity, negative consequences of tourism being a mass phenomenon can be expected. Besides basic data on macro level, segmented tourism market requires also the collection and analysis of specific data that enable the management of sustainable tourism and setting of goals and measures of tourism policies and their realisation. This paper indicates the need to develop a systematic approach to monitoring of data for tourism management at the level of mutually related and at the same time highly competitive countries of the Adriatic region. Additionally, this paper also suggests the general approach to organizing the analytical base for management of sustainable tourism of the Adriatic region.
