摘要:During the European Council Reunion in Lisbon, in March 2000, it has been established an ambitious goal: that Europe must become, in 10 years at most, the most competitive knowledge-based economy, the action-plan for reaching this objective having three main elements: informational society, the education and the research. In this paper we present some of the statistical methods and informatic solutions for analyzing a knowledge-based economy, using non-parametric statistical tests, in order to reveal the dimension of researchdevelopment activity in European countries.
