摘要：A security architecture for web based distributed applications is proposed with accents on one of the security component, part of this framework. Optimization criteria is identified and discussed. The authentication is presented, identifying the possible directions to be addressed in the optimization process. An adaptive model of authentication is outlined and the advan-tages brought by it are debated. Optimization process is conducted to improve the overall se-curity level. The model is validated, conclusions are drawn and future work is presented.
