摘要：Moldova has received very different rankings in different comparative studies on e-government development. This paper attempts to analyze the real state of e-government in the Republic of Moldova. We discuss the current situation, and evaluate that current situation using several accepted models. The most interesting aspect of this research is that e-government in Moldova is developing in the very complicated conditions of transition from a Soviet state with a centralized command system to a democratic state with a market economy, in parallel with a total reengineering of government institutions. In order to direct the strategy of the government of Moldova towards further development, we make a number of suggestions tailored to this complex environment.
