摘要：The digitization of television is of interest to the Internet community in that it opens the possibility of a new mode of delivering IP packets to the home. IP services can be delivered over television broadcast distribution networks, whether over the air, cable, or satellite. This article introduces the basic concepts of digital television (DTV) and provides a point of departure for further reading.
