摘要:This study explored how staff members in higher education are involved in the decision-making process. From the population of land-grant universities, 15 staff senate leaders were identified and included in a three-round Delphi survey of the strategies to be used to effectively involve staff in university governance. These leader identified 41 possible strategies to be used, and agreed most strongly with staff governance units empowered to make decisions that impacting the campus, support from the higher administration on initiatives to improve the campus environments for staff and that staff governance deals with important issues that are relevant to campus.
