摘要：The authors of this book focus on the socialization process that “new professionals” experience upon entering the student affairs profession. Specifically, they emphasize the importance of socialization and the specific roles that student affairs administrators at all levels can implement in socializing their new professional employees. They define socialization as “the process by which new professionals enter the student affairs profession,” and further state that during the process, “the new professional acquires the social knowledge and skills necessary to assume an organizational role.”
