摘要：El trabajo analiza vida y obra de Marta Samatan en relación con las siguientes cuestiones: su activismo feminista, su relación con Gabriela Mistral y la comparación que estableció entre sus regiones de nacimiento y adopción (el valle del Elqui y el Litoral santafesino respectivamente). La obra literaria de la autora es la fuente principal. Los resultados de la investigación muestran la utilización de la experiencia chilena para reforzar la crítica a las costumbres tradicionales que tenían sometida a la mujer en las primeras décadas del siglo XX.
其他摘要：The paper analyzes both life and work of Martha Samatan in relation to the following matters: feminist activism, her relationship with Gabriela Mistral and the comparison established between their regions of birth and adoption the Elqui Valley and the Santa Fe Coast respectively. The author’s literary work is the main source. The research results show the use of the Chilean experience to reinforce the critique of traditional customs that women were subjected in the first decades of the twentieth century.
