摘要：Neste artigo, buscou-se relatar sobre a vida e a obra da tradutora e escritora francesa Anne Dacier (1647-1720), a fim de ilustrar o seu importante trabalho de tradução dos clássicos gregos (Ilíada e Odisséia) e latinos (Plauto e Terêncio), em uma época em que o mundo literário era composto predominantemente por homens. Mme Dacier deixou registros das suas estratégias e escolhas tradutórias em prefácios e notas extensas que fez às obras. Para este artigo, o prefácio da sua tradução francesa Les comédies de Terence (1683) foi parcialmente traduzido para o português, exemplificando algumas dessas estratégias e revelando, por assim dizer, a concepção da tradução por ela escolhida.
其他摘要：This paper aimed to give an account of the life and work of French writer and translator Anne Dacier (1647-1720), as well as to make her valuable translations of Greek (Iliad and Odyssey) and Latin (Plautus and Terence) classics known, particularly because at that juncture the literary world was dominated by men. Anne Dacier left notes of her translation strategies and choices not only in prefaces but also in extensive footnotes found in her works. For this paper, the preface of Anne Dacier’s translation Les comedies de Terence (1683) was partially translated into Portuguese, thus illustrating some of her strategies and revealing, as it were, the translation strategies chosen.
