摘要：Africa faces many challenges in providing adequate healthcare to a fast growing population while also facing an increasing disease burden. This paper addresses some of the factors that affect access to healthcare and explores how African countries could improve access to and expand health services by, among others, harnessing emerging technologies, integrating traditional medicines and investing in human resource development.
