摘要：A quest.o indígena é recorrente na obra do escritor Luiz Carlos Barbosa Lessa (1929-2002), tanto como objeto de reflex.o quanto como fonte para a figura..o literária. Neste trabalho, proponho uma avalia..o dessa temática, o que inclui a análise intensiva do texto e sua inscri..o no debate público mais amplo. O balan.o da obra permite compreender a rela..o do autor com as culturas autóctones e mapear a emergência de discursos de ades.o a demandas pela memória indígena. Nesse sentido, os pontos de inflex.o aparecem marcados na narrativa, aproximada, principalmente no livro Era de Aré (1991), a uma literariedade tradicional de inspira..o oral, como demonstra a compara..o de seu texto com os chamados “livros da floresta”.:
其他摘要：The indigenous issue appears frequently in the work of Luiz Carlos Barbosa Lessa (1929-2002), either as an object of reflection or as a source for literary creation. In this article, I propose to evaluate this issue, which requires the intensive analysis of the text and its inclusion in wider public debate. The balance of the work allows us to understand the author’s relationship with the native culture and to map the emergence of discourses of adherence to demands for indigenous memory. In this regard, inflection points are marked in the narrative, which is similar to a traditional literariness, mainly in the book Era de Aré (1991), as demonstrated by comparison of his text with the “forest books”.
