摘要：O presente artigo discute a concepção platônica de arte, problematizando certa interpretação comum entre seus comentadores que aponta Platão como crítico das “belas-artes”. Pretende-se, portanto, demonstrar que longe de ser um inimigo da arte, Platão, por meio de sua filosofia do belo, procura combater o que considera ser sua má utilização, o que de certo modo demonstraria, por via indireta, o reconhecimento do filósofo sobre o caráter pedagógico da arte.
其他摘要：The present paper highlights the platonic conception of the art, discussing certain common interpretation among his researchers that points Platoon as a critic of the "beautiful arts". It aims, therefore, to demonstrate that far from being an enemy of the art, Platoon, through his philosophy of the beauty, tries to combat what considers being its bad use, and somehow would demonstrate, through indirect way, the recognition of the philosopher about the pedagogical character of the art.
