摘要:This paper considers a case study of a smart grid-connected home in Australia that has solar photo- voltaic panels for distributed electricity generation and batteries for local energy storage. With a focus on Web of Things (WoT), this paper explores a strategy to facilitate management of electrical energy in the context of the emerging smart grid ideas that are consistent with sustainability practices. The strategy considers a cyber-physical software system that incorporates web-enabled physical devices and RESTful APIs to enable monitoring, integrating and controlling electrical appliances in a household. A dynamic adaptation is considered of the energies flowing between the smart grid, local solar panels and local storage batteries for powering the house with a view to reduce costs and greenhouse emissions.
