摘要：Este artigo tem como objetivo mostrar o pensamento rortyano tendo por base os estudos do filósofo Paulo Ghiraldelli Jr., inserindo essa vertente filosófica no contexto mais amplo da Filosofia da Educação no Brasil. Os estudos de Ghiraldelli Jr. indicam que a reflexão rortyana neopragmática sobre a educação pressupõe uma crítica à metafísica da subjetividade moderna, um antifundacionismo e tem na relação “eu-mundo” regras de ação e instrumentos de lidar com a realidade que não comportam nenhum essencialismo.
其他摘要：This article has the aim of presenting the rortyan thinking, having as a support the studies of Paulo Ghiraldelli Jr , so as to insert this philosophical trend in a wider context inside the Philosophy of Education in Brazil. The studies of Ghiraldelli Jr. denotes that the neopragmatic rortyan reflection about Education presupposes a criticism to the modern metaphysics of subjectivity as well as to an antifoundationism and that it carries in the “myself-world” relationship some acting rules and instruments to struggle with reality, both of which do not bear no essentialism.
