摘要：The objective of this paper is rather positive than normative. We employ modern managerial techniques in order to support the development of public policy aimed at promoting healthy nutritional and physical activity practices in adolescent population. In particular this paper uses econometric analysis to model the determinants of overweight and obesity. Understanding the determinants of overweight and obesity is paramount to an effective national public health policy and fortunately modern managerial techniques provide the appropriate scientific framework to address this problem.
