摘要：An efficient and well organised public sector is in the interest of economy. Modernisation of public administration and enlargement of its effectiveness is a continuing process which demands increased accountability and transparency of its operation. The development of a modern public administration must include citizens as partners, who co-design its operations. As an example, the means of informing citizens is shown by the system of budgetary indicators of Slovenian municipalities. This system of indicators guarantees public finance transparency and control, as well as a more rational means of use of funds.
